Two Iconic Raw Thrills Arcade Titles
The Fast & The Furious Deluxe includes two awesome arcade games based around the legendary street racing movie franchise. The first is The Fast & The Furious, developed by Raw Thrills in 2006. Access 16 super-tuned street racers and master each one! Race your rivals through heavy traffic on 12 courses, each modelled on real locations. Gain points for spectacular jumps and gnarly drifts, and use the 'Boost!' feature to get the advantage and go for the chequered flag!
The second is The Fast & The Furious: Drift, also by Raw Thrills. This updated edition hit the amusement arcades in 2007 and features new cars, new courses and a new soundtrack. It's themed on the third The Fast & The Furious movie, Tokyo Drift, with courses, cars and characters based on the film. You can swap between the two games in moments using the intuitive game select screen.
Pedals, Gearshift & Wheel with Haptic Rumble Effect
The cabinet is a large 'Deluxe' style, which in Arcade1Up's range means a tall, one-piece cabinet without the usual riser. It stands 164cm high, with the rumble effect-equipped steering wheel tilted slightly for ease of play by taller gamers. A slick 5-position gear shift is situated to the right of the wheel, close enough for those hectic split-second race shifts. At the foot of the machine are the pedals, one for the brakes and - our favourite - one for the accelerator.
The beautifully-decorated cabinet is equipped with a 17-inch LCD screen, pumping stereo sound system and even an arcade-style illuminated top marquee. Finishing off the arcade look is the dummy coin door on the front of the machine. It's the ultimate games room addition for any adrenaline-fuelled fan of the movies, but remember - it's not how you stand by your arcade, it's how you play your arcade.
