Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How big does my garden need to be.
A: You need about 3 feet around all sides of the castles and 5-6 feet at the back for the blower. The slide has the blower coming out of one side of the slide so you will need about 5-6 feet at one side for the slide and 3 feet around everywhere else.
Q: How is the unit powered.
A: All that is required is a standard domestic 13amp socket within 30 ft of castle area. If power supply is a problem we can supply a generator at additional cost. Please call for details. The blower costs approx £1/day to run and can be switched off if not in use for any period of time. PLEASE ENSURE NO-ONE IS ON CASTLE BEFORE SWITCHING OFF AS IT DEFLATES VERY QUICKLY!.
Q: Do you charge for delivery.
A: No, providing you are within a 10 mile radius of Ashton-In-Makerfield. Anything above that and we must charge delivery on an individual basis. Please call for quotation.
Q: Can you deliver and set up.
A: Yes, we would need to set up your inflatable. That way, we can make sure your equipment is properly and safely placed and set up, and that you receive sound advice on ensuring the unit is used safely. Once set up it cannot be moved by the hirer.
Q: How long can I have an inflatable for.
A: For full days hire delivery is before 12 noon and collection between 4 and 8pm depending on location and existing bookings. Later than 8pm is treated as an overnight rental, and costs an extra £20.
When you phone to book please enquire if you have a specific time of an event/hall booking and the unit will be delivered in advance of that deadline. At delivery, we will confirm a suitable collection time for you.
Q: What happens if it rains.
A: If you decide that you want to cancel due to bad weather, that's understandable. If the weather is borderline we would contact you to ask what your wishes are for booking but if we do deliver the inflatable and there is no rain at time of delivery payment is still due on delivery. The key factor in the final decision is safety as a wet inflatable is also very much more slippery and obviously the risk of accidents then increases.
Q: Do I need to send a deposit.
A: No. To make things as simple as possible, you can pay by cash or cheque with guarantee card on the day at time of delivery. Cheques should be made payable to Steven Parfitt.
Q: What happens if I need to cancel for any reason.
A: Just let us know as soon as possible, there will be no charges. We know how difficult it can be, something else happens which means you cannot hold your event. In these circumstances informing us as soon as possible enables us to rebook the unit to another hirer.
Q: Does Bounce N Go carry Public Liability Insurance.
A: Yes, £1m, but it is important that the hirer appreciates what this means. PLI covers the hirer against loss, damage or injury caused by inappropriate or unsafe set-up, or faulty equipment. It DOES NOT protect against loss, damage or injury caused through either negligent use of the equipment, or altering any aspect of the set-up after delivery, or through normal use where accidents may occur.
Q: What can I do if my question hasn't been answered by any information on this page.
A: Phone us, details are on the CONTACT US page.
